COOCVE WE HAVE A PROBLEM PAYING FOR A SPECIAL DETAIL TO ENFORCE THE TRAFFIC LAWS AND QUICKLY NEEDS MORE THAN 1 DEPUTY TO DO THIS. JUST GET IT DONE BEFORE ANOTHER DEATH OCCURS………
After speaking with Mayor and Commissioner Shanetzky many times in the last few/weeks about the traffic stop running issue in Century Village, Today I spoke with BSO Captain Hofstein, who is also aware of the situation of the running of stop signs and speeding in CVE.
I now understand that COOCVE and MASTER MANAGEMENT need to step up their game and pay for “Special Details”. Both the organizations above represent the residents of Century Village. We entered into a contract with BSO many years ago, giving police pokers to BSO to patrol Century Village.
So, Mr. Okun, Macky Bachelor, and the other powers to be in CVE, please spend this money to get a special detail of at least 6 to 8 deputies at a time.
Any less than 6 or 8 or more will just make a dent in any one given days traffic violators. The intersection I have been filming is probably the most dangerous in Century Village/ If you spend the money, and it is not a lot.We can curb and reduce the number of residents, contractors, and visitors who are flagrantly running stop signs at Newport and West Drive. I urge those who know the powers to be in CVE to call them or text them. We need Special Details now in numbers big enough to stop multiple violators simultaneously,
