Description of Incident:
Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives have positively identified the woman who was found last fall in a submerged car in Deerfield Beach.
Around 7 p.m. Sept. 6, 2018, a Century Village resident reported seeing a portion of a Toyota Corolla protruding from the lake at the village’s Upminster K, near 424 S. Century Blvd. BSO deputies and divers responded and recovered Juliet Forrest’s body from the car.
Detectives had been working since the incident to positively identify the 64-year-old Deerfield Beach resident. Broward County’s Medical Examiner and Trauma Services ruled the cause of death is suicide.
