Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-This is pretty much the story-“Miami Herald Reporting-Sheriff Scott Israel Will Be Suspended And Removed From Office Fox News Says Governor DeSantis Office Denies This”.

We have to go with that as of this posting January 10, 2019, at 7.15 Am Sheriff Israel is still the Sheriff of Broward County despite the fact he did apparently tell upper echelon and staff he expected to be suspended and removed from office.

Deerfield-News.com has contacted BSO the response we received from Media Relations- Public Information Officers Joy Oglesby and Keyla Concepcion here they are –

We have also contacted the Office Of The Governor no response, yet.

As far as I know, he’s not suspended. The governor’s office would have the latest info.
