Hi, Howie.
At approximately 12:30 p.m., Broward County Regional Communications received reports of a possible threat to Deerfield Beach Middle School. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives with BSO’s Threat Management Unit responded to investigate. Out of an abundance of caution, the school has been placed on lockdown during the investigation. The investigation continues.
