Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, FL- A Deerfield Beach Century Village resident, who is 69 years old, was scammed out of $18,000. Somehow, while using an electronic device, a message appeared on her screen. The victim believed it was legitimate and followed instructions received from that bad link.
Following those instructions led her to give her ATM and PINs to the scammers to fix the problem.
At the end of the day, through deception and trickery, a woman is now $18,000 poorer.
