In the ongoing saga of Sheriff Tony canceling unilaterally BSO’s contract with The City of Deerfield Beach for Police and Fire services effective 9-30-2025. Broward’s Sheriff Tony took to his Facebook page to accuse Deerfield Beach’s elected officials, Mayor Todd Drosky and City Commissioners, whom he does not name, of “Doubling Down” in support of City Manager and former BSO Captain Rodney Brimlow.

The Deerfield Beach City Mayor and Commissioners have doubled down and placed their official support of their City Manager’s Rodney Brimlow lies and false police report.
This is extremely alarming and troubling. Especially considering they were provided with clear video evidence of what was stated during my roll call briefing. Moreover, FDLE, an independent law enforcement organization has thoroughly examined all the evidence and concluded no threat was ever made against Mr. Brimlow.
There is only one truth in this matter and @cityofdeerfieldbeach intentionally ignores it.
I will not accept being falsely accused of a crime and then being told by other elected officials the lie never happened.
Deerfield Beach residents will be thoroughly and truthfully educated on this issue.
What is it that this Commission is trying to protect by accepting this lie?

@Deerfield-News.com. An elected official and governmental agency cannot show preference over news media outlets. Our right to be included on the Sheriff’s official list has not gone unnoticed by us. I was thinking of calling “Timmy”-Chaz Stevens to help us file a Pro Se case against BSO for failure to include us.
