Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, FL-One of the most infamous and ugly/potentially dangerous buildings in Deerfield Beach is in Palm Plaza. Palm Plaza is on Federal Highway and Tenth Street; the city owns the parking lot in this shopping center.
So what is the story?
That is what we are trying to find out. This building has been vacant and abandoned for nearly 30 years. There are “Warning” signs and “No Trespass” signs all over it.
Deerfield-News.com has contacted the city of Deerfield Beach Director of Public Affairs and Marketing, Rebecca Medina Stewart, for more information.
While I will take the negative comments that are going to come, at this point, the city should just buy it. That would likely expedite the process of any legal remedy the city may pursue.
