The City of Deerfield Beach would like to notify residents that Broward County Parks and Recreation is working with the Florida Forest Service to burn approximately five acres at the Military Trail Natural Area, located at 4600 N. Military Trail, Deerfield Beach. The planned fire, which is often referred to as a prescribed or controlled burn, will happen Monday, April 26, 2021. Heavy smoke will begin at 9:30 AM and should be expected throughout the day.
