A Good Samaritan was fatally shot after he stepped in to stop an elderly man from being verbally abused. Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are investigating.

Just after 9 a.m. Sept 22, BSO responded to reports of shots fired at the Kwik Stop, 5551 W. Hallandale Beach Blvd. in Pembroke Park. Philip Antonino was walking back to his place of work when he saw something he couldn’t let slide.
