Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl- BREAKING-Once again the City of Deerfield Beach is faced with “Ojun Provacateur” and blogger Chaz Stevens placing his “FESTIVUS POLE” amongst Nativity Scene and Menorah at Deerfield Beaches “Public Area” for holiday displays.Stevens topped off the Festivus Pole with a “Trump” hat,says someone disconnected his electrical connection.
Stevens whose story went viral a few years ago has received nationwide media coverage for his antics.That said Chaz Stevens is a Deerfield Beach icon when it comes to pestering the City of Deerfield Beach.Stevens had the pole placed on US1 and Federal Highway ,but as of this morning it appears the City of Deerfield Beach has removed it.This is the fourth consecutive year Stevens has had an issue with the City of Deerfield Beach over the Festivus pole in the public area along with other religous symbols celebrating more tradional holidays.
The City had threatened to remove it.We can not confirm at this time it was removed by the City,but it is gone. We have inquired we will report back upon confirmation we have had no comment from any Deerfield Beach City official as of posting.
Stevens is legendary Google him read his blog he has been a thorn in the City of Deerfield for a few years and counting.
