Broward Sheriff’s Fire Rescue Chief Michael Kane, the Public Information Officer for BSFR, has told Deerfield News there was no one injured. Multiple units were dispatched because a bad belt in the dryer caused the unit to smoke. The damage to the laundry room was minimal. There was no one injured, according to Chief Kane.
