Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-Our recent inquiry as to who was inspecting Century Diner in Century Village for food inspections has us wondering who else is operating without a license and inspections.

Well, we can say we know of two establishments that are clubs or organizations that appear to fall into this category, unlicensed and un-inspected.

Deerfield-News can not find any inspection or licensing for The Moose Lodge or The American Legion in Deerfield Beach. We have just emailed the DBPR to ask for clarification if we have missed something or if it is the State of Florida that is missing licensing and inspections. From their own websites The American Legion and The Moose Lodge are clearly serving foods as seen below.

“From American Legion Lofley Hinson Post 162”
“We are open 7 am till 2 pm for breakfast and lunch. Lounge opens opens at 9 am. Dinner is served Friday and Saturday 5 pm till 8 pm. Live music Friday and Saturday evenings. Members welcomed anytime. Non-members welcomed when kitchen is open!”
