CORAL SPRINGS POLICE WARN OF FAKE MISSING CHILD SCAM ON SOCIAL MEDIA

SCAM ALERT

We have been made aware of a post made in a private Coral Springs Community Group and now has over 800 shares. This is NOT a real missing child. There is no evidence that this child is missing from any city. This post has been circulating in cities across the country with different locations listed as to where the child is reported to be missing from. Before sharing any post of this nature, missing children, elderly or dogs, it’s best to check the original posting page to see if you can comment (usually you cannot) and if there is a #city, often highlighted in blue. If you see these 2 things, it is a scam and should reported and/or deleted by the group admins.
