Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, FL-Last week, when I said Patsy’s Pizza in Boca Raton was the best I had eaten this year. I was right, it was the best until today. Now, anyone who follows Deerfield-News.com knows I am a fanatic for Thick and Thin Pizzeria’s Sicilian pizza, The Thick.
PREZ, WITH ALL THE VISITS TO BOTH DEERFIELD, WEST BOCA, AND BOCA RATON, YOU HAVE MISSED THICK AND THIN, ACCORDING TO ALLESSANDRO LUNETTO.
Two visits ago, the last one I was with Jeyjet.com. That is a story for another day. I spoke with Alesandro Alex Lunetto and described a couple of pizzas I saw his employee cutting and boxing up. Alex said if I wanted a Neopolitan Round thin and crispy, just call. So today I did. This was out of the park.I honestly believe Dave Portnoy would be somewhere between 8.5 and 9.2 for this pizza. I still think Thick and Thin’s Sicilian would also score in the high eights on the Portny scale.
So, folks, for those of you who follow Dave Portnoy or have his app, put down Thick and Thin Pizzeria so he can come out.
I suggested to Alex putting that Thin n Crispy on the menu and calling it The Dave Portnoy ” Pie remove the meatball and onions from the half I ordered as Mr. Portnoy likes large plain cheese pizza well done and thin and crispy. Just like Thick and Thin made today.
