Just after 2 p.m., Broward Regional Communications received a call about a crash and a shooting at Powerline Road and West Sample Road in Pompano Beach. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. All traffic lanes at the intersection of Powerline Road and West Sample Road are shutdown as detectives investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident. Motorists are asked to seek alternate routes until further notice.
