Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach- Coconut Creek Chief of Police Arenal said, “Jason Roseman is accused of firing upon Officer Andrew Renna” who was dispatched to a stabbing call. The call came in just after 7 am this morning. The Chief said Roseman fired a shotgun at officer Andrew Renna as he was responding. Renna took rounds immediately. Broward County records indicate Roseman was arrested two years ago for domestic battery by strangulation and aggravated assault.
Two were found dead one inside a home in Coconut Creek the other outside. Another person is seriously injured and at Broward North with Officer Renna. The shootings took place in the Coral Point neighborhood in Coconut Creek at 4217 NW 57tH Drive. Chief Arenal said the suspect is still being held at the police station in Coconut Creek. When he is booked into the county jail we will follow up with his arrest record search.
