Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl- Palm Beach Sheriff Bradshaw just held a news conference explaining how the federal government will begin sending immigrants to South Florida. According to the Sheriff, 135 people twice per week will be sent to Broward and Palm Beach Counties. Border Patrol will apparently begin sending immigrants in what Sheriff Bradshaw called “catch and release”. Sheriff Bradshaw is concerned about health issues like Hepatitis A as well as the counties homeless situation that already exists.
Broward County Mayor Mark Bogen also expressed concern about receiving hundreds of immigrants weekly from Border Patrol.
