City Of Deerfield Beach Still Silent Did They Cheat Employees Out Of Overtime/Special Time For Irma Debris Cleanup

Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-While the city of Deerfield Beach is seeking millions in FEMA money for the debris cleanup. While State of Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is investigating 3 debris removlal companies of which 2 Deerfield Beach contracts with.Deerfied-News.com has yet to hear anything from the city of Deerfield Beach about the issue of underpaying our own city employees.

Deerfield-News.com has been approached by city employees and they claim they do not feel safe or comfortable telling a supervisor of the situation.Maybe Deerfield Beach can advise if these employees can call a whistle blower hotline , maybe we should have one ?

Good Morning,
I am Howard Levy with Deerfield-News.com
I was sent your name from  Assistant City Clerk Heather Montemayor.
I have spoken with employees of your department. They have concerns that they are not being paid for the Fema work they say they are still doing.Apparently they had been receivng additional pay above regular O/T for doing debris removal,if I understand and now they are not.Can you please clarify why they were paid a higher rate and now they are not.
Thank You,
Howard Levy
