As the City of Deerfield Beach begins its formation of our own Police and Fire Departments, it is vital that they are developed in partnership with our residents, business owners, and stakeholders. These Community Engagement Meetings are designed to ensure a transparent and participatory decision‑making process.

This is more than a meeting; it is a working session where your expectations, concerns, and lived experiences directly inform how services are designed, delivered, and measured. We are seeking clear input on what safety looks like in your neighborhood, how you want to be served, and what trust and accountability must feel like moving forward.

Join Us for the First Design Charrettes

This session is the first of many upcoming opportunities, designed to ensure that every resident in the city can participate.

Your participation will help define service priorities, shape community-centered policing and fire response models, and establish the standards of professionalism, transparency, and responsiveness that will guide these departments from day one.

To ensure everyone in the City has an opportunity to participate, we’re offering these meetings at various locations, during the day and evening, as well as on Saturdays. Each charette will follow the same format and cover the same material, so you only need to attend the session that best fits your schedule.
