The city of Deerfield Beach voted tonight to leave the Broward Sheriff’s Office and form its own Deerfield Beach Police and Fire Departments again. In a 4-1 vote, Mayor Todd Drosky and Commissioners Hudak, Plaut AND Shanetzky voted in favor of the Deerfield Beach Police and Fire Department. The vote against re-forming the Deerfield Beach Police and Fire Department and staying with BSO were cast by Vice Mayor Preston and Commissioner Shanetzky.
Deerfield Beach Mayor Todd Drosky and 2 Commissioners, Hudak and Plaut, have voted to leave BSO and form the Deerfield Beach Police and Fire Departments again!
Deerfield Beach Mayor Drosky said we can 100 percent do this!
