Join the Dream: Deerfield Beach MLK Day 2026 Parade & Grand Marshal Search
The City of Deerfield Beach and the African American Heritage Board invite the community to join the 2026 MLK Day Parade & Celebration on Monday, January 19, 2026.
Under the theme “One Deerfield, One Dream,” the day will celebrate unity, community, and the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Parade Participation: Local schools, churches, businesses, nonprofits, and community groups are encouraged to march, perform, or ride in the parade to showcase the special spirit of Deerfield Beach.

Grand Marshal Nomination: The search is also on for a Deerfield Beach hero to serve as the 2026 MLK Day Parade Grand Marshal. Nominate a neighbor, mentor, teacher, or local leader who embodies service, unity, and leadership and has made a positive impact on the community.
