Deerifeld-News. Deerfield Beach, FL-Just when you think you are going to a city function for the benefit of residents, and safety in destroying old medications and sensitive documents.
You find a fine group of BSO Deputies who, unfortunately, I would assume at the Sheriff’s instruction, are handing out “Know The Facts” flyers. I went to this event after missing posting about it on this website. I was told that Deerfield Beach Mayor Drosky would be there.
I drove through Century Village, and yes, I stopped at the 4 way sign at Newport Drive and West Drive. I then exited the Village and entered the driveway of Fire Rescue Station 66. I was greeted by a couple of very nice Deputies and handed a flyer.
I told them I was not there to recycle but to take pictures, and I heard that the Mayor was here. I glanced at the flyer and told the Deputy they might have given this to the wrong person, jokingly.
