Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, FL-Today from 8-12, there was a shredding event for Deerfield Beach residents. The event was at Fire Rescue Station 66 on Powerline Road and West Drive.

BSO Deputies, Scout Explorers, and Deerfield Beach Mayor Todd Drosky were there. Many residents drove up and were able to dispose of old medications and documents for shredding.

If you missed today’s event, the city of Deerfield Beach has another next Saturday, September 13th. More information below.

Bring your old files and confidential paperwork to the Bernard Adams Municipal Complex, located at 401 SW 4th Street. This is a great opportunity to securely dispose of sensitive documents!

Just a few things to remember:

Please remove all large metal and plastic clips, spines, and plastic notebook covers beforehand. File folders, paperclips, and staples are totally fine!…
