Pope Francis,who had recently been hospitalized with pneumonia, celebrated and appeared on Easter Sunday at the Vatican. Vatican officials report that Pope Francis passed away at 7.35 Am (GMT+2). The Pope had also met with Vice President Vance during his visit to the Vatican earlier yesterday.
Pope Francis was born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 17 December 1936. Pope Francis was the first Pope to be born in Latin America.
