Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-After a preseason win over Chaminade last week the Bucks continue their winning streak.Tonight with a win over Carol City 6-2 at Traz Powell stadium in Miami .The two field goals by Deerfield Beach senior Liden Rivera of 33 and 25 yards respectively in the second quarterwere to the difference for the Bucks.The Chiefs (0-1), the defending Class 6A state champs, got their two points on an intentional safety with 3:55 left to play.That play nearly backfired on the Bucks as Carol City got the ball on the 11 yard line,the Bucks defense held up!
The Bucks will now go to New Jersey for a game against Saint Joseph regional.The Bucks now have started the season with a 1-0 record.
