Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, FL-In a conversation with Deerfield Beach Mayor Todd Drosky, Deerfield News can report the following about the “Dilapidated Building” in Palm Plaza at the corner of Tenth Street and Federal Highway.
The City of Deerfield Beach received a demolition order from the Broward County “Unsafe Structure Board.”The property owner has retained counsel. The attorneys representing the building’s owner are Sweetapple Broeker & Miller P.L. They have appealed the order granted to the City of Deerfield Beach.
Apparently, while waiting on the appeal, the building’s attorneys have contacted the city attorney and have had discussions.
