SOCIAL MEDIA POST IN LIGHTHOUSE POINT ALLUDES TO BLACK MILITARY OP JAMMING SIGNALS

Deerfield-News. com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-A recent Social media post by a Lighthouse Point resident about the death of a beloved dog and code enforcement getting involved, because a sign was posted. As a dog lover, I sympathize with the situation, and at times, the government, including Code Enforcement, would be better served by making compromises in extenuating circumstances. That said. The poster goes on to allude that the dog’s owner was ex-military and should not be messed with. Ok, he has an opinion

What makes this newsworthy is the old game of telephone and third-party, unconfirmed information today on social media and the internet.

The poster suggests that Military-Style vehicles have been seen in Lighthouse Point and that, when you are near them, your communications are blacked out and not functioning. In today’s world, if in fact that were the case, it would be a very serious matter. Both the Lighthouse Point Police and the FBI, as well as the Military and their intelligence agencies, should be contacted.

DEERFIELD NEWS CAN NOT CONFIRM THERE IS ANY TYPE OF OFFICIAL OR UNOFFICIAL MILITARY BLACK OPERATIONS BEING CONDUCTED IN LIGHTHOUSE POINT.

Folks, be careful what you post, and folks reading due to your due diligence after reading to verify the authenticity of things others post!

Below is the entire post from NextDoor-

LHP Code Enforcement – Disgusting The Mayor needs to Fire every one in this department Immediately after the story I heard about last Friday. One of my neighbors told me about a guy who had a sign of his dog that passed. Here’s what he sent me, see the photo attached. Code Enforcement guy named Peter Capello told the guy he needed to remove the sign. My neighbor then heard it got ugly and someone saw the guy going off on the code guy. At some point the Police came I guess and the Mayor got involved. Great job by the Mayor for sticking up for this resident if in fact this was the case The sign stayed up. I guess my neighbor has a friend that knows the guy. Somehow the code lady in charge Toni Palmieri said sign needed to come down. Keep in mind there were zero complaints from what my neighbor said. ( I had to look up these code people’s names didn’t know who they are. I just heard some guy named Peter and lady who runs it) Here’s where things get interesting. I guess the guy is a former Green Beret and did some Private Military Contracting from what my neighbor found out. My son got out of the Marines 7 years ago so I asked him about all this. My son said, Dad I can tell you 100% the Green Beret guy and probably the guys he served with along with the military contractors he worked are already planning something and it’s going to get ugly. He said you don’t mess with their families including their dogs. I leave for work every day at 4am for the Port. On the morning of Presidents Day at 4 am, I saw the most heavy armored SUV/Truck ever on a street. Something straight out of a sci Fi movie. There were 2 at this house. I tried to turn back around to get a photo and my phone was completely blacked out. Wouldn’t operate. I went to work and as soon as I reached Federal my phone worked and turned on Same thing happened this morning. Both vehicles there again around same time and again my phone was blacked out. My son said more than likely these vehicles outfitted with some special military jammers. He said they probably jammed up any electronics in the area including the License plate cameras around town to get in and out. All I know based on what my son knows from these guys and his speculation is that something is being planned. My son said these are probably extremely highly trained professionals with high tech gear and can wipe out an entire area in minutes Again, I believe the Mayor should step and fire these people immediately. We don’t need heartless and clueless people at the City in code enforcement or any other department in the City harassing residents who’s dog passed away.

I loved the sign that man put up for his dogs. I see him all the time and he is such a loving pet owner. I can’t believe he got harassed just because he wanted to honor his pet. I used to love to see him take his old dog out for a walk in a wagon so he didn’t have to be left at home while the other dogs were out.

You are not allowed to put signs on the swale…regardless of content. OWNER was at fault.

Mike’s a incredibly decent fella. We often see him at mass at St Paul the Apostle. Kinda guy you’d love to have as a neighbor. Whoever pushed the issue over a man honoring his beloved pet with a small sign needs to not be dealing with the public.

While the entire situation you’ve conveyed is disappointing on behalf of someone in code enforcement (if that were the case) I could be off base here, but I’m not sure that all of the speculative information about a private citizen you don’t personally know would be appropriate to be posting, and providing a photograph of his home where it is easily to locate may not be appreciated with those details for all to see . You may be putting information out there that he may not want shared on a social media platform.

How many signs and big banners you see on the front yard for kids graduating HS or College? Someone had nothing else to do but to report it to the City. Out of curiosity did it look like a this? Probably not, but just wondering since I never seen anything like this one on the Streets.

PS now that I searched this truck; it’s 300K The USSV Rhino GX is an armored, heavy-duty “Armageddon” SUV designed by US Specialty Vehicles on a Ford F-450 chassis. (Google). It’s not Rezvani tank.

Melissa more than likely it’s because he placed the signs along the sidewalk or swale. If they were kept on his part of the property there probably wouldn’t have been an issue.

What is the city going to do if he doesn’t take the sign down? Fine him? If so, then start a gofundme and I’m sure plenty of people (myself included) would help pay it.

The fact that there is so much speculation in one post is embarrassing. While the guys sign is fine, if code doesn’t allow it the enforcement person was doing their job. Although, there should be compassion let’s fix the code instead and avoid crazy rumor type posts. Don’t go around making this poor guy sound like he can be jamming frequencies or doing any other of the nonsense that is being speculated.

it all breaks down to common sense and compassion, something that has been lacking in this country for some time. Maybe counseling employees instead of firing them is a better solution

right? I could see some elderly person relaying it to their Mah Jong team about the big bad wolf at house in the photo (another big no-no. ) He wrote with emotion and did not think this through.

I’m not here to start controversies. I simply shared a story. The guy has a US Army sticker with a skeleton with a Beret right on the back of a Jeep vehicle he has. Anyhow, my only purpose was to show how disrespectful and hateful it was for the conduct by Code Enforcement. .

and to let everyone know that your son thinks something is being planned that involves the area being wiped out in minutes by black ops.

Well i heard from my sisters cousins mom neighbor, that posting stupid comments gets stupid replies. Now, I’m not sure how reliable that is when she heard it from the postman’s neighbor who was walking his dog.

Myself and my parents are Lighthouse Point residents. In the few years I have been here, Code enforcement has been a Pain in everyone’s Ass! Other than the older gentleman who works weekends, they are all assholes and refuse to give any compassion or leeway for anything they view as a violation! I Agree…Most should be seriously reviewed or fired!! Everyone in Lighthouse Point pays far too much in taxes to endure the problems the code enforcement imposes on it’s residents!!! Anyone disagree??
