Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit (SVU) arrested a 24-year-old man on multiple sex crimes charges, and detectives are encouraging additional victims or anyone with information on the investigation to come forward.

According to investigators, Ronison Exavier, an assistant athletic coach at Highlands Christian Academy, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 20, following reports of lewd and lascivious molestation. Detectives say the family of one of the victims contacted BSO on Monday after learning the suspect summoned the victim to his office on Wednesday, Oct. 15, and inappropriately touched her.

During the investigation, BSO detectives discovered a second victim who stated Exavier had committed similar lewd and lascivious acts against her. The first incident occurred in the fall of 2024, and the second in July of 2025.

After receiving the information, SVU detectives immediately contacted Exavier at his residence in Coral Springs, where he was taken into custody.

Exavier faces three counts of soliciting and/or engaging in sexual conduct with a student, two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation/conduct, and two counts of touch or strike battery.

Based on Exavier’s involvement with students at Highlands Christian Academy, detectives are concerned there may be additional victims.
