Boca Raton Police investigate fatal accident
Boca Raton, FL – At approximately 12:45 pm, Friday, February 17, 2023, Boca Raton Police responded to
a single vehicle accident in the area of 1000 Spanish River Blvd. Traffic Homicide Investigators spoke to
witnesses who said the vehicle was traveling westbound on Spanish River Blvd approaching the
intersection of NW Broken Sound Blvd when the driver veered to the left and struck the center
median. According to witnesses, the vehicle reentered the roadway and accelerated, colliding with a light
pole. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead.
