Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl- Here is what we do know about the incident at the beach today that resulted in several arrests and four people being transported to the hospital. As of now, BSO has not released an official statement.
A car chase that began in Pompano Beach on A1A near Atlantic Boulevard ended in Deerfield Beach. BSO deputies were trying to stop a vehicle with a stolen tag, the vehicle did not stop and fled north. Shots were fired by the fleeing suspects BSO deputies returned fire.The chase ended in Deerfield Beach at the firehouse on the beach where the suspects were arrested. No deputies were injured in this incident according to sources.
