Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield beach, Fl-In a recent inspection by the state of Florida DBPR, El Portal was closed temporarily for failing its inspection on the 17th. They were reinspected on 18th and again on January 3, 2019.El Portal located at 3438 West Hillsboro Boulevard had 14 Violations of which 6 were High priority, 3 intermediate violations, and 5 basic violations on the inspection that lead to temporary closure.. The last inspection on the 3rd no violations were observed by inspectors.

Approximately 20 flies on wall and flying in entry wall into kitchen 4 flies flying in prep area 2 landing on slicer and one landing on prep table 4 flies in hallway where mop sink and dry storage is located. Per operator walk in cooler door was left opened for less than an hour. Advised to leave closed doors until temporary drops.
