Fire In High Rise Pompano Condo Causes One Death A Hundred Evacuated Beach,Fl-BSO is reporting the following-An early morning fire in a Pompano Beach condo killed a resident and sent seven people to area hospitals. Broward Sheriff’s Office homicide detectives are investigating Vincent R. Andretta’s death.

Intracoastal Towers  1501 n.Riverside Drive a 15 story multi-unit highrise condo is where the fire occurred.

According to homicide detectives, the fire started in Apt. 707 and the smoke traveled to Andretta’s unit where he lived alone. It appears that he died from smoke inhalation. The official cause of death is pending an autopsy by the Office of Medical Examiner and Trauma Services.
