- Description of Incident:
Broward Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit detectives are investigating a murder between roommates living at a Pompano Beach home.
Shortly before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, BSO deputies and Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to a call of a deceased person inside the residence of 2912 N.W. Second St. in Pompano Beach. The victim, Karim Shouman, was located in the kitchen and was pronounced deceased on scene by PBFR. BSO’s Homicide and Crime Scene units responded to investigate.
According to detectives, the suspect Shenard Jennings and his roommate, Shouman, had ongoing arguments that escalated when Jennings punched and beat the victim, killing him.
Jennings was transported to BSO’s Main Jail and faces one count of first-degree murder.
