Public Safety Leadership Evaluation to Guide City’s Next Phase
As part of the City’s ongoing public safety transition, evaluating the next Fire Chief and Police Chief has been identified as a key step in ensuring strong leadership for the Deerfield Beach community.
Mayor Todd Drosky emphasized that securing the right leadership for both departments is essential as the City moves forward.
“What we’re doing next is we’re under evaluation for our next Fire and Police Chief. That will be the next important step as we go forward in this process — to make sure that we have the right Fire Chief and the right Police Chief to lead us as we move forward,” Mayor Drosky said.
Public safety remains a top priority for the City. Officials reaffirmed their commitment to transparency and ongoing communication with residents throughout this process. Additional updates will be provided as next steps and timelines are established.
