The City of Deerfield Beach, in partnership with the African American Heritage Board, is proud to announce the 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Parade & Celebration. Residents and visitors are invited to gather on Monday, January 19, 2026, to honor the life, legacy, and enduring vision of Dr. King.

This year’s theme, “One Deerfield, One Dream,” serves as a call to action for the community to embrace unity and collective progress. The event will highlight the local leaders, students, and organizations who continue to move the dream forward through service and solidarity.

Event Highlights

• The MLK Memorial Parade: A vibrant procession featuring local marching bands, community floats, and civic organizations.

• Community Celebration: Following the parade, the festivities continue with live music, guest speakers, and cultural performances.

• Unity & Heritage: An opportunity to connect with neighbors and celebrate the rich history and future of Deerfield Beach.
