The Broward Sheriff’s Office D.U.I. Task Force and the BSO Deerfield Beach District will conduct a checkpoint operation beginning on Friday night.

The operation will occur from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. from Friday, Nov. 21, to Saturday, Nov. 22, at Saint Ambrose Church located at 380 S. Federal Hwy. in Deerfield Beach.

The goals of the operation are to identify and apprehend impaired drivers who pose an immediate danger to the public, promote traffic safety and cite traffic violators. BSO urges the public to drive responsibly and make smart choices behind the wheel.
