Broward Sheriff’s Office Deerfield Beach District detectives are seeking a vandal seen spray painting a pillar underneath the Deerfield Beach Pier. The incident was caught on video and posted on social media.

According to detectives, the incident occurred around 4:40 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, and is one of several incidents since September where the subject(s) spraypainted the underside of the pier. City workers painted over the graffiti, and BSO detectives are investigating the matter as possible criminal mischief.
