Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, FL- OPINION-In what many do not like, including me, burning the American flag. Donald John Trump signed an Executive Order this morning.
Trump’s Executive Order clearly violates the First Amendment, like it or not. One would expect the ACLU or another group to be seeking a “Temporary Restraining Order” for injunctive relief and a Declaratory Judgment striking down this order shortly.
This order prohibits a right that was previously constitutionally protected. The Supreme Court has spoken on this issue clearly. Donald Trump has signed 220 Executive Orders in his first term.
Trump has already signed 191 “Executive Orders” in eight months of his second term in 2025.
President Biden has only signed 162 in his four years in the White House.
