The BSO Public Information Office is currently working a developing incident regarding a hit-and-run with injuries located at: 2600 block of Northwest 13th Court in Unincorporated Central Broward near Fort Lauderdale.

UPDATE: 

Broward Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit detectives have arrested the driver of the vehicle, Linouria Wilson, DOB 10/06/2000. Wilson has been transported to BSO’s Main Jail. Investigators say she faces one count of attempted murder in the first degree. This investigation continues.

ORIGINAL MEDIA INCIDENT ALERT:

At approximately 8:42 a.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a call reporting a hit-and-run near the 2600 block of Northwest 13th Court in Unincorporated Central Broward near Fort Lauderdale. BSO district deputies and Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded. On scene, deputies located a female suffering from injuries consistent with being hit by a vehicle. Paramedics transported the female to a local hospital with serious injuries. The preliminary investigation revealed the two females were involved in an ongoing disturbance since at least last night that resulted in the hit and run with injuries this morning. According to investigators, the driver of the vehicle intentionally ran over the other female and fled the scene. BSO’s Real Time Crime Center assisted with locating the vehicle. Detectives have the driver in custody and charges are pending.
