Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl-Breaking News-In another failed attempt to regain his position as Broward County Sheriff, Scott Israels case will not be heard by Florida’s Supreme Court.Gov Ron DeSantis removed Israel from office claiming he failed to prevent the shooting at Parkland’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High. Israel has failed at his attempt to have Florida’s Senate overturn the Governor’s action and it appears he will not be heard in Tallahassee.
Seems if Israel wants to be Sheriff he will have to run again for office.Deerield-News.com did a post on that possibility a while ago. There is nothing preventing Scott Israel from running for the office of Broward County Sherif again, except the voters of Broward.
