Man Tries to Kidnap Four Children from a Deerfield Beach School
Wednesday morning, a man tried to kidnap four children at a Deerfield Beach elementary school. Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives have arrested Milor Michel, 27, on four counts of kidnapping-false imprisonment and one count of trespassing.
Around 7:09 a.m. (May 23), Michel walked onto the campus of Park Ridge Elementary, 5200 N.W. Ninth Ave., and started accosting children in the school’s parking lot. An alert student told a teacher who went to the parking lot where she saw Michel pulling a child by the arm toward the lot’s exit. She yelled for him to stop and notified law enforcement. BSO’s Deerfield Beach deputies immediately responded, found the suspect in the area and detained him.
