Deerfield News Deerfield Beach Fl-Dog thrown in the Intracoastal in Boca Raton rescued by good samaritan and taken to Boca Police Headquarters for some TLC.
Jellybean was thrown into Intracoastal by owner. Rescued by witnesses & got some TLC from BOCA 911 dispatchers.
Boca Police have arrested and charged the dogs owner with Felony Animal Cruelty.
FROM BOCA POLICE-We respond to all types of calls here at Boca Raton Police Services Department . On Monday, officers reponded to Silver Palm Park where witnesses said a woman tied a dog in wire and threw it into the Intracoastal and walked away. Those that saw it happen, quickly helped rescue the dog and called 911. Jellybean spent part of the day with our 911 dispatchers resting and getting some TLC before being picked up by Friends of Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control The dogs owner, Eva Klein, was arrested and has been charged with Felony Cruelty to Animals.
