Tonight, the Broward County Commission voted unanimously to leave BSFR and form its own Broward County Fire Department. The Fire department will serve Fort Lauderdale Airport and Port Everglades.
The Sheriff has been busy posting away on all of BSO’s Social Media platforms, trying his best to persuade Broward County Mayor Bogen and the Commission not to leave BSO.With Pembroke Park, then Deerfield Beach, and now even the County, of which he is the Sheriff, deciding to leave BSO/BSFR, Tony has faced another loss of a contract with a government agency BSO provides services for.
