A new phenomenon, speeding and not stopping at stop signs after dark, is rampant in CVE. Ok, maybe it is not new. Now I know all over the city, BSO needs to step up traffic enforcement, Tenth at “Hellsboro”, Military, Dixie, U.S 1, and more.
That said, in Century Village East, post demolition of the main gate and a shift in traffic patterns, entering and leaving the Village, traffic rules seem optional.
We need to see more BSO pick-up trucks and motorcycle traffic enforcement units all around the town.
In today’s twenty minutes, at least four people blatantly ran the stop sign at Century Boulevard and Berkshire. I was only spotted by one driver, and he was not happy. In fact, he ran his finger across his neck as a threat and yelled a few choice words. Telling me to be careful. With that thick Russian accent and the picture of him, I have, maybe he should be even more cautious—no need for road rage when you’re driving and I’m a pedestrian.
