The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is investigating a fatal deputy-involved shooting that occurred Wednesday night in Deerfield Beach.
At approximately 9:23 p.m., Broward County Regional Communications received a 911 call about a disturbance involving an armed female who pointed a gun at an individual in the area of 2060 N.E. Despite verbal commands from deputies to not do so, Lester produced a firearm. During the encounter, which occurred inside and outside the vehicle, multiple BSO deputies discharged their weapons.
