IMPORTANT UPDATE! Broward County has notified us that the Monarch Hill Landfill Expansion items are now time-specific for 11:15 AM on Tuesday! Broward County Commissioner will continue discussing the proposed expansion of the Monarch Hill Landfill on February 25th at the County Governmental Center (115 South Andrews Avenue, Fort Lauderdale). This is an important issue that could significantly impact our community, and I encourage you to attend if you can.The City is providing free transportation from the Johnny L. Tigner Community Center (435 SW 2nd St). The bus leaves promptly at 8:45 AM, so please email [email protected] with your name, phone number, and email to reserve a spot by Monday at noon.
