Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach, Fl- Delray Beach Police are reporting a pedestrian died in a Brightline train vs. pedestrian accident this morning. With this incident, there are now 113 deaths that have resulted since the inception of Brightline trains in South Florida.
As we have posted too many times most cases are either suicide by train or IMPATIENT OR STUPID drivers that think they can beat the train and or its gates. We also have questioned whether there is a possibility that there is something wrong with signals or gates and timing sequencing.
The latter seems to draw many to attack us for even raising the question.
That said, one would hope that aside from local police agencies, the Broward Sheriff’s Office and Brightline warning the public to not try and beat the train or its gates. Online videos show many still tried and now 113 people have died.
