Deerfield-News.com-Deerfield Beach,Fl-Located 5361 Dixie Hwy at 15th and Dixie Highway in Deerfield Beach. A recent inspection by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services indicates Ali could and should be doing a better job when it comes to food safety.
Citations and observations were made of employees not washing their hands before engaging in food preparation. In the deli area employee was observed donning gloves between tasks and not washing hands.Sinks were found not to be in convenient ares and without soap and paper towels or other hand drying mechanism.
Multiple violations for food temperature and storage were found.
Premises not maintained to be free of insects or other pests and or not controlled to eliminate their presence. The inspector cited the facility not being cleaned as often as necessary. Inspector noted that the facility is not kept in good repair. The bathroom door is located in an area that is subject to airborne food contamination the inspector gave the establishment 30 days to correct
Over 15 different citations were observed during the inspectors visit including the operating the establishment with out a food permit which the inspector gave them 10 days to resolve..
