BOCA RATON POLICE IDENTIFY WOMAN FOUND DECEASED IN OCEAN AS DEERFIELD BEACH RESIDENT

Boca Raton, FL – Boca Raton Police have identified 34-year-old Megan Beaudet, of Deerfield Beach, as the woman found deceased in the Atlantic Ocean last Friday morning, approximately one mile east of 1100 S Ocean Boulevard. Around 9:15 a.m. on August 11, 2023, Boca Raton Police Marine Unit officers were on patrol when they discovered a body floating in the distance. The body was recovered and the Boca Raton Police Investigative Services Bureau took over the investigation.

Beaudet’s vehicle was located near the Pompano Beach Pier where surveillance video shows her walking on the beach around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 10, 2023.
