Public Information Officer Veda Coleman-Wright is currently gathering the details. Here’s what we know so far: At approximately 2:30 p.m., Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives attempted to make contact with a male subject in the area of the 2600 block of North Andrews Avenue in Wilton Manors. During the encounter, deputies were involved in a shooting. The subject was taken to an area hospital. No deputies were injured. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement will investigate the shooting. |
